Learning from Home Week 2 | April 13th -17th

Hello Kindergarten Families,

Thank you for your continued support you provide for your child with the assigned learning tasks. You are doing an amazing job supporting learning from home. Please remember that we understand many families are in different situations, and to do the best you can with the resources and time that you have. We are here to support you in any way that we can!

We are planning to have our first Google Meet meeting on Tuesday, April 14th
·      AM Kindergarten will have their meeting at 11 am.
·      PM Kindergarten will have their meeting at 2 pm.

On this date, please login to your Gmail Accounts, using your email and password sent to you by your teacher. An email will come to this account, inviting you to join the meeting. You will click on the invite to join the meeting. The invite will come around 5 to 10 minutes before the meeting begins.

Please try logging into your Gmail account at least half an hour before the meeting in case technological issues arrive.

This first meeting will be a chance to connect through a video chat to reconnect after being away from the school and classroom. We look forward to seeing everyone at our meeting!

You could draw it, or you could create a large ten frame on the floor using painter’s tape. Creativity welcome!

Assessment: Send a picture of your ten frame to your teacher.

With a family member, take turns rolling a die and building a tower (Use blocks, Legos, Cans). For example, if you roll a ‘6’ add six to your tower. Do this ten times.
